And it's all for free. You're wearing it now. This is your skin. The human body is a beautiful and mysterious machine. We collect the most interesting facts about the human body, and today, we're going to figure out how the human skin works.

So, your skin consists of three layers: the Epidermis, Dermis, and Hypodermis. The epidermis is the uppermost layer of your skin. This is your personal waterproof armor that protects the body from bacteria and damage. The lifespan of this armor isn't long, but the old cells are completely replaced with new ones after 4-6 weeks. By the way, half of the dust found in your house is old skin cells! Yuck!... But let's go deeper and find out what your skin is made of, why it's so sensitive, why the skin on your scars looks a little different, and some other interesting facts about the human body's largest organ.
