Suspects seen on video trying to break into Toronto home

Four suspects, two of whom were armed with handguns, were caught on surveillance video trying to break into a Toronto home early Monday morning.

The video, released by police on Tuesday, shows the hooded suspects huddled around the back door of the home near Beechgrove and Coronation drives in Scarborough at approximately 2:21 a.m.

Police said the suspects were able to gain entry into the backyard and attempted to enter the residence by using what looks like a crowbar. Two of the suspects are seen brandishing handguns in the video.

The suspects weren’t able to enter the property and fled the scene in a silver, four-door sedan.

Not surprised. Ontario is going to sht. Can't even defend ourselves. Had goons like these try to rob me beginning of December only a few hours from where this video was taken and I'm still mad. I had to take off in my car to avoid getting hurt.

Whats the point to call the cops? My friend was robbed with a gun to her head and she told Toronto police it was two black men and the police released a description to the public about the suspects and to not offend a very very small group they said the following statement “two men ages 18-25, 6ft slim build” leaving out the most important fact they were black men dark dark skin not no mix or light skin. It’s crazy that you can put a gun to a young women’s head rob her and the cops won’t even release the skin colour of the criminals. When it’s a white person doing the armed robbery which isn’t very often(look at the factual statistics)they make damn well sure they say “white male”. All this is doing is creating more black criminals(if the cops won’t say your skin colour if you aren’t white then that is almost a green light to be a criminal for a young black man) which is something we need less of not more of
