Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is a beautifully presented JRPG with a plethora of fun things to do and deep systems I happily got lost in - but a few issues leave it short of being flawless.

MHS in 3ds is unbelieveable, graphics wise, story wise, this could have been pokemon. An open world game with beautiful graphics and engaging combat system.

They give you faster animations option, quick finish, and a Narga that stealths...honestly tedium shouldn't be a complaint when its handled so well, far better than any Pokemon game and the rest of the clones.

FYI, if you want to change elemental types, you have to make sure an element is at 4 or more than the original element. This is easier to do with non elemental monsties, because you don't need to go past an element since there is none.

Did you all really just give this an 8/10, and give Pokémon sword and shield a 9.3/10. Yeah no this game is better than Pokémon in every way and that’s just from me playing the demo.

Honestly this game should have been given the same ratings as Pokémon Sword and Shield. Not only because it looks prettier but mostly because (according to other reviewers) it has a ton of things for you to do in the post game. Plus even though the monster animations are reused from previous games, it’s still way better than Pokémon’s animations.
