What Is Cregan Stark’s Role In The House Of The Dragon? How Is He Connected To Jacaerys Velaryon?

Apart from several minor characters, House of the Dragon introduced a Lord of a rather famous house, right at the beginning of season 2. Yes, I am indeed speaking of the Starks, the most important Northern House that we first came across in Game of Thrones. It has been quite a while since we had seen a Stark in this universe, so it is inherently natural for all of you to be curious about who Cregan Stark is or what is his prominence in the Dance of the Dragons or the Targaryen Civil War. House Stark was no where to be seen in the first season of the prequel show, so of course we were all in a shock when season 2 began with Cregan Stark’s three minute cameo. If we have learnt anything about the nature of storytelling in House of the Dragon yet, it is that every character, big or small, has a contribution to make that would eventually alter the course of the overarching narrative in the longer run! What I am trying to tell you is, Cregan Stark and the North are going to be very prominent pieces of the Targaryen Chess play later on. The Stern Lord of Winterfell might just be the key that the Black Faction needs to put their blood on the Iron Throne!
