Great video, thanks for taking the time to do it. As a noob it looks to me like the loops should only iterate through the variable array on line 2, so I'm confused :-). Why do the loops include grades.length on line 3? Thank you.

hi caleb.if you didn't already know... i think the third parameter is to be used in nested arrays. i haven't tried it. but i guess that's the only way it makes sence

Ok, I got it right, but let's say I have an empty array declared as let arr = [ ] and arr.length = someValue, and then I want to fill said array with some items with a forEach loop. How am I going to refer to the caller? I tried with declaring the callback function as function(item, i) and, then, accessing every cell with this[i] = someValue, but it didn't work. Is there a method to do it in a non-verbose way or the array I used is pretty much unfillable now?
