why a 5 minute workout can be BETTER than 40 minutes…

consistency over perfection.

When you only have the energy or time to commit to a short workout, or even a small part of a workout, showing up builds a habit. It teaches your mind that you are someone who moves, someone who shows up, even in the smallest ways.

On the other hand, pushing yourself to do a single long, exhausting workout once and then skipping the rest of the week often leaves you feeling frustrated, disappointed, and stuck.

A habit is built when you give what you have today – not when you aim to go beyond and then feel like you’ve failed.

So start with what you can. Those small efforts compound into results and confidence over time.

Remember: it’s not about how much you do in one day – it’s about how often you show up.

I needed this today! I struggle with the all or nothing mentality a lot and I am having a rough mommy day. But, I made it through 15 minutes. Proud of what I could do today. (Or trying to be at least!)

I started pushing myself when I saw your realistic consistency like at least 5/10 mins is better than nothing. Also makes me feel better when show half an energy is still as good as being fast and upbeat!

Clothing has been the biggest hurdle for regular work outs for me. I now work out in whatever I'm wearing for the day. Be it jeans or underwear 😂

Jo I was about to push off my workout to later (after a school meeting I have this morning) and do a longer workout but seeing this video was my sign to get something done this morning so I feel more accomplished so I did a 10 minute intense ab workout. Thank you for visualizing these ideas to us. It makes a huge different than simply being told “be consistent every day”
