My old man would say “ the more you have, the more you have to worry about “. He was right about that!

After 54yrs of caring for others and having to live in a big city, I now live off grid in a cabin. (30m x 30m). The woodlands are right beside me. I have solar power, a wind turbine will be next. ( it is Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 after all 😊 ). Rain water is collected and i’m planning for my veg garden for next year. I have no tv ( bliss ) and only patchy internet ( more bliss). Mostly it’s quiet apart from the bird song. This has been my most contented and relaxed I’ve ever been in my 66 years of life and a time that I’ve had the least possessions and conveniences. Okay must go and get on with my guitar practice. Apparently you’re never too old blah blah. All the Very best to all on here. 💚

I've been living a simple life for a long time. The wrong people interrupt my life at times and it can cause me to become frustrated. I chose carefully the friends I keep.

Practicing minimalism makes my life way better. Having shelter, foods + water, clothes, being with family & friends and enjoying simple pleasures. 🍃🌿🌸

I am 70 years old. When I was in my thirties and forties and early fifties I was very energetic. I built two houses, had a career, raised a family and life was anything but simple. However, I was extremely happy!
Now I am older and I choose to live a much simpler life. I am very happy!😊

I have an exam within 3 weeks and I was so depressed before watching this, although I have studied so much I always felt like it's not enough. But then I mess up by trying to do everything .After watching this now I get it.I won't push myself so hard I can calmly revise what I studied and I think it'll work.

Same, this is exactly what i do. Simple life is the best life, more freedom and happiness. More love for yourself and family, and you actually get to have time to do the things you love ❤

I started my minimalist journey about a year ago. I began slowly getting rid of things, but after a while, I noticed that I still had a lot of clutter. I found myself constantly cleaning and rearranging my room in an attempt to find comfort. Recently, I got tired of it all and decided to get rid of everything. Now, I'm starting over.

As a senior and an American, I have a lot of "stuff" and at the point of slow traveling and leaving the US. Strange how one can get attached to material stuff. Like your favorite picture etc. Though it can bring comfort, it eventually causes "more" : cleaning, debt, or being tied down. Think I was led to your video because of my contemplating letting go of a house, having a car, material stuff that now feels like a burden. Want to let go of my house, furniture, car etc and live my last years in a country that values life, nature. Enjoyed your video and was led to it for a reason. Thanks!

I chose to live in basic studio apartment and commute via mass transit. Less space to keep clean and not worry about vehicle maintenance, theft or vandalism. This lifestyle saves money, minimizes stress and provides me with piece of mind.

Simplicity is what helped many and many Ukrainians' lives. While living in such extreme conditions every single day, the mind just doesn't understand why stress could be so long time.
We are just thinking in that way - balistics in the sky, explosions outside - Ok, I'm lucky my family and I are survived today.
No electricity - ok, we're lucky we have our apartment, it will be heated and lighted soon.
