Getting a straight answer out of Holmes is like trying to nail Jello to a wall.

She never let anything get in the way of her dream, not a lack of knowledge, thermodynamics, physics, logic, finances, ethics. She was just a dreamer.

Before anyone knew she was a con artist, people were like- wow, she’s so smart I can’t even comprehend what she’s talking about. Now that everyone knows she’s a con, everyone’s like- wait, she isn’t actually saying anything, it’s just a bunch of gibberish

Elizabeth Holmes is so good at saying a lot of words but not actually saying anything 😭 This interview is so wild. Girl was fighting for her life

There is a reason why we, as lab workers or trained in doing so, take larger samples and run multiple tests along with reference. It was reckless and ignorant of her to state that we do so because we are inefficient or corrupt. You wouldn't want forensic scientists to run a simple test to prove or disprove a crime now would you? You definitely shouldn't do so when it's your well being on the line.

The host asked her the same question in three different ways and she kept deflecting. Amazing

The fact that she went after her former employees says enough.. She is a fraud

Wow he repurposed the question at least 3 or 4 time with out her giving a definitive answer lol

She's a master at avoiding questions. I wonder how she does it so fast. It would take me ages to think of a counter response to avoid a question and she just does it in 2sec

She sounds like my 13 year old brother trying to sound much maturer

She does not answer questions asked of her. He had to ask her 3 times. A million words just to avoid answering a YES or NO question. And all those words convoluted into dyslexic mumbo jumbo. Communication incompetence at its worst.

She deserves an Oscar for this performance.

This conference was scheduled well before Theranos was exposed. John Carreyrou, the journalist who exposed Theranos knew he had to break the story before she was going to speak at this conference, so they published it just a few days before this event.

Wow, she can lie with a straight face, without a blink.

I love how she tries to make it sound like they made this proactive voluntary decision to take the nanotainers “through the lab framework to the FDA framework” instead of a reactive backpedal to try to cover their tracks only after the WSJ article was published.

We are currently transitioning from the FDA Framework to the .NET Framework.

Q: Are you testing for other medical conditions using your Edison machine?
A: We are... already committed... to the engagement... of the transition of our devices, software and chemistries... from the lab framework and quality systems... to the FDA framework and quality systems... and clearance process... as the only company to make voluntary submissions... in the context... of the requirements... we need to meet... to enhance... the elements of our work... and it's proprietary technology... to move as a company... forward... in the context... of the regulatory requirements... by the FDA... for the blood industry.
