Everything is in the opening question. She asembled a board of people who never ran a company and knew nothing about the technology.

Elizabeth Holmes is the definition of a humanitarian. The fact that she assembled a strategic board goes to show she is willing to fight and change policy to bring cheap healthcare to the market. Kudos to her.

It is -- and will be -- a long battle for Elizabeth and Theranos. The young woman is pretty much alone fighting against investors, the media and, above it all, the "unknown in medicine" -- the one that causes cancer and other fatal diseases that take our loved ones way too early from us.

Elizabeth may fail -- it is a risk every business accepts when starts -- but she surely tried. Congrats for the last decade Elizabeth -- for trying something new that could have saved lives, and still may.
