Blackjack is the casino game with the lowest house edge. However, notoriously on the Strip they have found ways to subtly gain a bigger edge over the player. These small edges come in the forms of "22 push" or "6:5 payouts for Blackjacks" (for example when you hit the Blackjack at Cosmo and Aria you would have received $150 on a 3:2 table instead of $120 at a 6:5 table) or "dealer must hit on soft 17's." If you enjoy playing Blackjack and want greater odds of walking out the door with money then avoid these tables at all costs. Also, the casinos offer basic strategy charts in the gift shop and when followed to perfection you can often cut the house edge to a mere 0.5%. When card counting is implemented perfectly the player edge can be anywhere from 1-5% which terrifies casinos!! Hope this helps!
