Water Softener and Filtration Installation - Step by Step DIY installation @Aquasure #watersoftener

In this video we are installing the Aquasure Elite Harmony and Fortitude Pro system. This is a whole house water filter and waster softener system. It includes a very large pre-filter, a large carbon filter, and a water softener. We went with the 64,000 grain system, but most houses can easily get away with the smaller 32,000 or 48,000 grain systems as well.

Thanks for your video, very well done, appreciate you went thru initial setup and explained all the steps. I'm getting ready to install mine, same brand, pretty similar setup, I have the Aquasure water softener and the Fortitude filter but I don't have the large carbon filter, mine is a 48000 grains. This will replace an existing Kenmore water softener I installed 20 yrs ago. A few years ago I replaced the resin inside the tank, a messy job but added a few years to the system. For my installation I will add a bypass around the whole water softener and filter, this way I can replace the filter, or do maintenance on the water softener while I don't have to shut off the water for the whole house. I will use PEX-A piping with brass fittings, I like the SharkBite ball valves, I already have the pex-a tool from another project.

Thanks for the video. The fleck valve is what I needed and kept it simple after that. No reason to run multiple tees, 90s and pex lines. My setup came with 2 pre filters for some reason. I will use the longer one and keep the little one for a post system garden hose into a DI filter for car washing.
