When we hear the concept of speaking to others we think it's a simple task. But more times than not, we sound more uneducated than we think. In this video, Dr. Peterson details the step-by-step process to how to properly speak with someone or an audience and actually make them want to listen to what you have to say.

Having been in search for Truth about Spirituality, the Essence of Life, my past, my relationships, and how to become my best self … I can honestly say Dr Peterson’s wisdom, insights, intellect, and his way of sharing those has helped me beyond measure. I’m 58 and have been on a self help journey since 1994. He has helped me tie so many loose ends in my mind that suddenly it’s like this masterpiece is finally beginning to come into focus. I have such a long way to go but thank Creation itself for this man who so humbly shares what he knows for free. I pray that God continues to bless and protect him and his family. Thanks… from the heart. Mana

For over the years I can tell from my experiences there are 3 main things to be a good speaker:
1. List your main points, speak in that order.
2. Use simple words
3. Be bold, no one is gonna eat you alive when you speak

Why are there so many angry fools in the comments? Being well spoken is a treasure, not a burden. It helps you navigate arguments to find solutions. Choosing words carefully is like stepping carefully so you're not stumbling into obstacles. Choosing the right word helps you avoid misunderstandings, getting to the solution both parties desire more quickly.

That whispering theme in the background is so apt for his conversation which adds more essence to what he's sayin....

I was adamant listening to Jordan Peterson's ideas. However, I decided to stop being so subjective and kept listening. He has so many valid points, that I've opened my mind. I realize that as objective I thought I was, I don't have to agree with everything, but when he's right about something, he's right. I'm a female who's had to play the head in my household and I'm tired.

To throw a proper conversation
1.be a monster
2.receive a lot of objections
3.don’t be intimidated by the anger
4.don’t be swamped by compassion

I really respect and appreciate this video because In fact what he’s doing is what he says in the video right as he’s speaking to us so he’s explaining what he does and he’s doing it at the same time. That takes a lot of mental power and thinking.

Yep it truly is hard to solve real problems with people. Especially when they resort to crying, screaming and even more yelling to turn other people against you. Which looks bad when you are not even phased by their tantrum and insults.

The man speaks common sense, something sadly lacking these days .

I have to say, he's right; It's usually when it gets to "I've angered the person or I've made them sad" that I cop out, stop and don't push through.

what he said here about the process of writing a good novel is, incidentally, exactly what Stephen King said about writing a good novel.

This video has really helped me understand that my limiting beliefs were sometimes true as I couldn't understand a word of what Jordan is talking about.😂

Peterson design his speeches to sound like he is intelligent and knows what hes talking about. He is actually saying, what I allways felt when hes talking.
