Materials Needed:
To be best prepared to replace the Backlight Inverter Board inside of your TV, you will need the following materials:
• A pair of latex gloves.
• A pair of needle-nose pliers.
• Both a flat-head and phillips screwdriver.
• And a cup to hold all screws, clips, and any other small items. So let's get to it shall we?

Instructions:
• Locate your TVs identification label and take note of the brand name, model number, serial number, and model code if present.
• Unscrew and remove the back cover.
• The Backlight Inverter is a part of your TV's LCD Panel Assembly.
• The Backlight Inverter is mounted to the back of the Panel close to the right edge, and can be hidden under a metal or plastic cover.
• These Inverters are given different numbers or are named Master & Slave, depending on their location and function.
• Backlight Inverters are connected to the panel via small wires or lock into a series of small slot connections built into the panel.
• Carefully unplug all wires by hand.
• Unlock the wire connectors by squeezing the tab or tabs and gently remove the wires. Be sure to keep a firm grip with both hands.
• Unscrew and remove your bad Backlight Inverter Board from the chassis.
• This item is clipped directly to the fluorescent bulbs within the display assembly. To prevent damaging the bulbs, slowly lift the board at one side and allow the tension to release one clip at a time. Lifting the board too hard or too quickly can result in broken fluorescent bulbs.
• Remove the Backlight Inverter from the plastic tray.
• The part number for this item can be found printed on the board.
• Click on the search results to view important product specifications. Verify that your original board matches all requirements noted in the product description prior to purchase.
• Place the Backlight Inverter into plastic tray.
• Reinstall Backlight Inverter onto the chassis. Carefully snap the board into the bulb clips.
• Insert all screws to secure your ShopJimmy New Backlight Inverter Board to the chassis.
• Reconnect all cables.
• Return the back cover to its original position and secure all screws.
• This ShopJimmy replacement Backlight Inverter Board does not require any manual configurations in order to function. Simply plug in and power on and your TV will function as if new.

Hello, I have Sharp Aquos LC‐50UB30U, I don't have pictures but do have sound. can see lights from the back of my TV (through back cover) and can see menu page while I dim all lights of my room, can it be an inverter issue?

I have a sharp aquos lc-42d43u. when I turn the tv on it comes on for a split second, I can see the blue box in the top corner that says which input it is currently using, then it goes completely black. I can hear the audio still but cant see anything on the screen, no menu or anything else. do you know what is causing this, and if so where I can get the part?

Hi, My sharp Aquos LC 42D43U screen colours suddenly started to fade. After many unsuccessful attempts  to fix this problem, I unplugged the TV overnight. When plugged the colours return to normal just for half an hour then they start to fade again.  any solution or fix? Thank you in advance.

My Sharp Aquos model # LC-C3234U died & the power button flashes green.I've tried:
1) Turn off and unplug the TV & hold the VOL DOWN & INPUT buttons while plugging in AC power.2) Hold the volume up button and channel down buttons down and while depressing both buttons plug the unit in.3) Push the volume down button and the power button at the same time. Wait for the light on the front of the tv to turn red. Then turn the tv on. After trying #3, turns on few sec, goes black & power light blinks

Hello, I have a Sharp Aquos LC-52D62U
I have a problem, it does not turn on or have any sounds exempt a clicking sound when I plug it in or try and turn it on. Only thing that I see is two green lights that flash at the bottom. The sequence goes like this (Power + Opc lights flash together once then the power flashes once by itself) I called Sharp, they made me press Vol up and Channel down together then plug it back in. Afterwards when I let go, there was no longer flashing lights. Then I proceeded to press Power but nothing!!! Now the Tv does nothing, no flashing lights, no clicking sound. It's completely guy from Sharp proceeded to say that it sounded like I had a lamp/backlight problem. I called a repairman and he said that if it was the panel there's no point in fixing it. But I'm thinking, can't I just replace the backlights??? I already replaced the power board, so that was not the problem. I need help...Thank you!!!
