LG monitor - Inverter board failure

Dead inverter board causing the monitor to only be able to stay on for about 3 sec.
If someone knows how to fix quick and easy, please leave a comment under the video.

It could also be bad caps.... When a monitor is plugged in the caps charge, but they are needed for rapid charging and discharging to stay on. As the caps discharge, they don't recharge as fast as the power required... It is most likely bad capacitors on the power board causing this - this is tied as the most likely problem with a bad light... Depending on the type it is, LED or cfl tubes - if a single one is out, it can cause a voltage spike in others which leads to the board shutting off power - this is easy and quick to rule out... Use a flashlight and put it up against the monitor while it is on - if you see a picture then it is likely the backlight but a backlight issue can be the lights or an issue with power. Either way, the monitor would need to be disassembled. It's easy to do.. the video Inverter board failure usually leads to other issues such as lines on the screen ( can also be caused by faulty ribbon cables - monitors typically use the cheapest variant available and as a monitor is moved, and flexes or from turbulence caused by heat - these cables move, flex and become brittle at the connecting points and along the wires in the cable and break or increase resistance causing lines ).. There are also backlight control boards / inverter boards.. You were experiencing high pitched sound which can be caused by a number of different components. Taking a voltmeter along the components can show you exactly where the problem is if there aren't visible indicators such as bad caps, burned wiring, singed board, etc..

Just fixed my TV, replaced the PSU and then the Inverter...
I wish I had found a clip showing this, as it's *exactly* what mine was doing, minus the buzzing, then I'd know to try the inverter first lol

this screen is a led lcd screen or a ccfl lcd screen ? if is the ccfl lcd screen it's possible the ccfl on the top of the screen it's dead because i see on the top of the screen the picture is darker or a bad inverter failure

Same happeneds to my vr headset, but i cannot put light close to it to check, will burn up lcd due to perfect lens focus on them...
