I used to play tabletop games against myself all the time. It's actually kind of oddly satisfying. Since it's basically a two-player game in which both players think the same and know the same strategies, you can't really plan ahead. So every move has to be made up on the spot, developing improvisational strategy skills.

...Unless you're cheap and set up one side for failure.

Don't worry, Jared. The only thing that changes if you actually reduce the final boss' health entirely to 0 is just a bigger number of years he stays banished for in the ending screen.

You know, something I really love is the idea of a nigh-unkillable final boss (or boss in general) who, the more damage you deal to him, will stay sealed away for a longer period of team. Great concept for a whole seperate game.
