So it's harder, since you don't have duplicates on a normal 3x3

The Penrose is definitely not easier than the 3x3: first the pieces that are symmetrical can cause weird cases that never appear in the 3x3 just like this guy explained, then, the curved shape of some of the pieces makes it hard to do finger tricks, so if you know some algorithms only by muscle memory chances are you're gonna mess up the first few times you try to solve it

I solved the Penrose cube with 3x3 method and regular 3x3 is 100x easier and better 👍👍

As someone who has a curvy cube(thats what i call it) i know its harder through duplicate pieces but i thought i wqs doing the wrong algorithim soi was confused untill i reqlized that there are duplicate pieces

Other cube names: volcano cube, cube.

It actually is a little harder to solve the three-color cube because there are duplicate pieces that you can mistakenly put in place and not realize it. Then you have to do it over with the right piece.
