How To Stop Googling Symptoms For Hypochondriacs! In this video I will give you 6 amazing tips to do away with the bad habit using dr. google to look up your anxiety symptoms! I had health anxiety for 5 years and became a hypochondriac because I used google to search my symptoms when having my first panic attack! The google search results indicated that I was having a heart attack. I then began googling my symptoms of anxiety every day for pretty much 3-4 years and developed cyberchondria before I realized the damage it was doing to my chances of anxiety recovery!

So how do we overcome anxiety or beat anxiety disorder? These are tips that you should be trying every single day to stop your anxiety! Dont skip any days and remember that there will still be bad days. Its how we handle the bad days, that determines how we progress in our mental health. First, discover and work on your root causes of anxiety! Practice gratitude everyday! Everyone has something to be thankful for! Make sure you are exercising daily, eating healthy, keeping a journal, taking a multivitamin, practicing meditation in the mornings and evenings, practicing cbt, keep counseling or therapy as an option, watch positive affirmation and asmr videos, join online support groups, and most importantly do this everyday and dont give up! I stopped looking up shit a lot time ago. No matter what your symptoms are, Google always seems to tell you that it is probably heart failure or cancer LOL

We google because we see it as reassurance at the time, I’ve learned the hard way by googling. My health anxiety and GAD is the worst it’s ever been, I’m suffering with constant chest pain and I’m dying to google but I’m refusing because I know exactly what it’s going to say and it will only make me worse. You may think at the time that google will reassure you, but trust me it will not it will make you a thousand times worse. Stop googling, it will only make you worse.

I Google my symptoms over and over 100 times a day re reading the same exact things over and over again just to confirm I have what google says I do. Cancer is always what google says my symptoms are. Some many times I tell my self i wont Google symptoms but I still do it onky to go into a full blown panic attack

The pandemic has only made my hypochondria worse. Every time I have a runny nose or sore throat, I immediately start to worry about Covid. For the last several years, I’ve been experiencing nerve pain and muscle twitches. According to Google, I probably have cancer. LOL

I was introduced to the world of anxiety and depression 70 days ago when I went to the ER twice almost three times in a my doctors are helping me and this week they tested me for diabetes. I just googled it and saw this I told my wife that I am not going to google anymore and just trust what the doctors tell me when they give me the results. I am still healing from what happened 70 days ago so I am not going to add to my issues. Thank you for your videos, they have confirmed that I’m doing all the right things. ( diet, exercise, journal, mediation)
