Semi Truck driver tries to run me off the road **Hwy 1, Abbotsford BC**

I was driving up Highway 1 East bound just passed 232nd in the middle Lane and the semi driver in front of me signals to the right and gets into the far right lane. As I'm proceeding past him he jumps back into my lane (no signal) and forces me over to the fast lane cutting off cars going by faster than me. I flipped him my middle finger as I drove past him. I'm now I'm in the 3rd lane about to exit at 264th and the truck catches up to me and decides to push me off into the shoulder as I was trying to exit. I jumped back on to the hiway to get his plate and number on the truck. I caught up to him near MT. Lehman and got in front of him to take the next exit. This is where he tailgated me and wouldn't back off.My 2yr old son is in the car sleeping as this all happened. He then decided to run me off the road a 2nd time. This time was much worse as I almost hit the cement barrier. This is deliberately done to cause harm.

I Called the police but they wouldn't send a police car to pull him over as they had crime to fight in Chilliwack (shooting she said) so I turned around at 3 road as she said nothing they can do.

As a class 1 driver myself, this behaviour is unacceptable.

professional truck drivers... yup.... I'd like to see what led up to this encounter though.. its hard to form an opinion when you're only shown part of the situation.

WOW GUYS....just wow it seems like to me so many people are assuming that it was the motorist fault for the road age just because someone flips you off doesn't give the trucker the right to potentially injure or kill someone idk why you fools are saying *"one day when you mess with a trucker that is really pissed your going get killed"* or... *"what did you expect when you flipped off that was obviously going to happened"* ..SERIOUSLY?! why....why is society like this

As a " professional driver " we are held to a higher standard, this is not how a professional acts or conducts themselves, that was dangerous by him and uncalled for, call his company, email his company, Google review his company and go to the police station and file a report/complaint!

If your child was in the car, you should have just let it go, and go on about your day. Flipping that trucker off didn't make the situation any better. IF you're a professional driver like you CLAIM, you should know better. DON"T ENGAGE ROAD RAGERS, get the F away from them. Your first reaction should have been to protect your son and yourself.

Why did you accelerate once he got beside you.. he clearly had the speed.
You have your child in the car so why play games with a truck?

Your child’s life is more than a road rage fight. You clearly weigh less than him so speed up and move forward. It’s Not worth it for either side

You can't drink pride and you can't smear it on a slice of bread. It's not worth being right if you're dead right. If you have to chase him 10 km to the next interchange, then it's about retaliation, not safety. Leave your hand off the horn and your finger out of the window. Put your foot on the brake, and phone this fool's truck number and the video in to the company that he will probably no longer be working for.

After reading article on a different forum .you're partly to blame being aggressive. Especially with your kid in car.. you knew there was an issue with this driver instead of calling it in you decided to escalate things. Stupid idea

Not suprise with that company name. But I'm a truck driver too and many time peoples finger me thinking they have the right of way . or finger me just because I was waiting for left turn and they cant pass.... Etc. That really piss me off.

If you see a road rage driver, no matter who's fault please stay away from them ..your life is far important that stopping his behavior.

Be a defensive driver not offensive when offended..I was almost hit by a semi on highway..I slowed down and kept my 4 ways on to notify other drivers behind me for safety

The solution to road is stay away...from them...I am 100% that they're not suppose to be on road..but your life is far important than an angry driver

It looks to me that the motorist lost his temper and behaved poorly when faced with dangerous truck driver. Both parties would benefit from a sanction.

You should report this to the company and leave a link in their google review page. You'd be surprised at how much companies care about their online image.
