Did only I thought about possible shank into the guy when Rory made his back swing? 😅 After a few cases I always stand behind any player 🙈

Great video with Rory. I'm struggling off the Tee and this is a great drill.

I would like to know on the split hand grip is he turning his hips or are his hips turning because the shoulders and arms are pulling the club down.

What i notice is the diagonal line created by his arms all the way down his trunk to his left leg.
I turn too much in my backswing, and so that diagonal is broken, making it hard to return to impact.

Surprisingly, i use split handed grip *(the samurai/jedi grip)* for real and my accuracy is increasing significantly.

Why is he standing right there??? Don’t stand in front of someone hitting — pro or not.

What really upsets me is knowing that over the years I have taken lessons but not on a regular basis, tho it shouldn't make any difference given my issue. My drives have mostly too low but rolled like crazy which is OK without obstacles on a fast course but obviously the problem was carry distance. I couldn't believe that 4 different teachers didn't notice that my shoulders were too level thru impact & that I wasn't swinging up. All of those years, lessons & money for incompetent teachers who held my game back for so long. Thanks for nothing! I certainly would never have been a scratch golfer but would at least had a better chance. Golf is hard enough even with a good teacher.
