As for the whole getting over 50 marriage proposals before I was 24 well that's probably just because I was in Utah so I'm not sure its relevant, but I think the key to the male mind is simply if a woman loves herself enough to be able to walk away from any man who ignores her, it makes men want her. Idk I'm not a psychologist, but my experience, when men see other men vying for a women it makes her more desirable, when a woman is also working on herself and investing in herself it makes her more valuable and desirable as a partner.

As a Psychology student, I can totally agree with this advice. Texting is still a form of conversation and it is very important to articulate your personality through words and emoticons to keep the semantics (to keep the tone/meaning).
