Could someone " PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE " tell my "WHY" we're in such a rush to move away from earth ? Is there some horrible event about to happen where earth isn't going to be a livable environment any time soon ?
I like space exploration but in my opinion shouldn't we save up the money for this stuff and use all the funds now for other more important issue's ? I just don't see ( or understand ) what the big rush is all about ?
Hopefully someone with actually knowledge can/will give me a heads up on this
Love the world from Vancouver Canada.

Maybe they took a camera to get hi res images of the tons of Apollo stuff littered there on surface, would close the case men have ever made it there.

That clean burn was very impressive ! Looked like star . Amazing it doesn't just burn up.

I really hope that as dark as it is on the dark side of the moon ( totally love Pink Floyd ), that they'll be able to show us something of what it looks like. If there are military or alien bases there it would be so cool to see some proof but we all know "THAT" wouldn't happen..

We want to see the Dark side of The Moon, not Earth

How could they put people on the moon in 1969 yet there's been failed attempts and multiple tests this year about trying to get there?

This rocket launch is equivalent to you boarding a brand new 747 in Toronto, flying it to Vancouver, and upon landing the plane getting scrapped.

Not a piece of the equipment is reusable. The launch cost $1.5 billion and it cost $23 billion to get to this point. This isn’t how to conquer space but how contractors conquer tax payers money.
