I have one friend who upgraded to a 392 cam but it wasn't just a stab in a go situation. He ported the heads, installed a SRT intake, long tube headers, and trial and error with the tuning to get it to run together. He ended up with a 61 horsepower increase. It performed better all the way around. Unfortunately it was stolen off his driveway one morning. The police found what was left of the body and frame at a chop shop they busted 5 months later.

I've made this cam into my 5.7. The 392 cam works great, but You have to keep in mind to tune it through VE tables, and also adjust Variable Cam tables in HP Tuner. Results are extraordinary. I am well impressed.

There's a gentleman from Reignited on YouTube. He was a Chrysler certified tech for over 10 years before moving on to do his own thing. He just did the 6.4 cam in the 5.7. He installed new lifters and springs as well. He said that's all that was required mechanically. He did tune it as well. Just an fyi...

I just put a 392 cam in my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 this week. The computer took a while, like 25 miles of operation to learn it, but it's now all good. Runs Great, especially top end. I only used the new cam, new lifters and valve pushrods. The cam for 85 bucks and 8 hours of install time.

Nice! Just got a 14 charger srt. Was heavily contemplating a newer scatpack but this car was owned by an old man. It only has 20k miles on it. I always loved the front end on the 11 to 14 srts. The only gripe is the 5 speed auto isn't near as smooth and quick as the ZF 8 speed. But the 392 still pulls hard as hell!

So maybe a 6.4L custom grind and new pushrods and valve train are in order. Stop giving me ideas I'm going to end up at Demon $$ into my sub $40K muscle car.

Ok 👌🏾 see I think I found a channel of a realistic thinker that really gets it.
Cause I’m in the same boat with my HEMI Durango. Right now it’s stock everything and I really don’t see to many videos in depth so now may I fill a void and rise to the challenge of beautifying the beast.

Yeah, it's the same thing with the LS guys. A popular LOWER BUCK upgrade is to take a stock 6.2 or ZO6 cam and install in the lesser LS engines. Some guys like that route and some don't. You played it smart by not taking what could have possibly been an unsatisfying experience. Although I've been into foxbodys since the late 80's and also like modern Mopars. That would be a cool low buck NA experiment (with 392 intake, exhaust, and other REASONABLE add ons) after picking up a used charger. Big dollar stuff is cool, but I like the low buck mods that work as well.

That's definitely one thing I hate, when there isn't enough information for things. I understand it's a new and not common thing to do but those who have done it should provide the info. Anyways, good information, I got happy for a second thinking it was cheap to get some nice gains but lack of info drives me away, at least because this is my daily driver. On another note, my shirt came in today, I can't wait to wear it at the next meet! We are planning on doing a midnight run, should be fun and great photo ops across Miami! Keep'em coming Bro!

I’m running a 392 cam, CAI and diablo tune and it feels a lot faster than stock. Haven’t got it on a dyno though. The M6 cam is about $220.

I did the cam swap myself so to me it is a hell of a deal even if I only gain 30whp.
