She doesn't lack damage in the first place, what she need is sufficient attack speed and solid survivability.

Ok killing a character in 3 autos with only 2 itmes may seem unfair but you have to remember Vayne is an early to mid game champion that falls off super hard in the late game.

Usless item. Vayne doesnt need dps. She needs 1 or 2 dmg items and then work her way through surviving long enough to actually have dps. Other than her invisibility and E she has nothing else to work with to survive Especially since she has very small range compared to other adcs. Immortal \ guinssoos is enough.
