Not sure if intentional or a bug, but Jhin can proc energised effects with an auto whilst reloading, meaning that he can blow your entire team up with an unreactable attack.

It's rather silly!

It was quite the same even before the changes. I tried old rageblade on Diana once in practice tool and after 4 autos it went like this with her passive empowered auto attacks as well. I think it still applies it but it's the in-between auto and therefore it's not visible or something. I don't know tbh, but I am pretty sure it used to be the same as before, but it's still just not fixed

i noticed that something was wrong with it, but i just assumed that the kraken on-hit effect was just taking an extra hit to re-cycle, this explains a lot

Explanation : rageblade after getting stacked increases the frequency of ON HIT effects
And kraken got its damage changed from ON ATTACK into ON HIT, which made the 2 items have some synergy now

Both the animation and sound effects played for the proc but it did 0 damage. Like you said, it's subtle.

Once stacked, the pattern should be
hit, hit, hit(proc), phantom hit
hit, hit(proc), hit, phantom hit
hit(proc), hit, hit, phantom hit(proc)
hit, hit, hit(proc), phantom hit...etc.

So every 3rd set of procs, it should take the full 3 auto attacks. But what we see here is the proc seemingly going off, but not doing any damage. Definitely a bug.

Edit: I think I know what's going on. The attack that it doesn't do damage on is the phantom hit. And I think Kraken might only work (currently) if the auto attack itself deals damage, and it may even be scaled to the % of damage of the attack. Someone can test this if they like. Find an auto attack modifier that normally deals a lower % of damage than a standard auto. Lucian would be best I think since he can trigger his passive on demand. Auto, then double tap them and compare it to just a normal 3rd auto. If it does half as much damage, we'll know the cause.

oh my god this makes so much sense. i had an issue with diana where my passive wouldn’t proc after like 4 or 5 autos after doing the same thing lol

every single time they changed something about rageblade it had multiple bugs, it is so sad that things like that make it to live

While this is sad for adc’s, I just wanna mention that Sion has been bugged for (what feels like) a few months now. 1. Any ability followed by a Q can cause no charge and only acts like you tapped it and 2. Apparently the advanced blast cone can stop his ult if detonated; now I’m not sure if the blast cone has a terrain or player style hitbox, but it doesn’t make sense…

That explains alot, in a recent game of mine I looked at the dmg Kraken dealt after like 10 minutes, and it was at 500 espite me fighting in a lot of fights, that lasted longer than 4 hits

from what I can tell and judging from other comments, the on-hit (from any effect not just kraken) that gets ignored is the one that should be procced by the phantom hit itself

This applies to Jax as well, I tried Guinsoo's out a lot but noticed that after stacking it I got his passive R AA off twice very quickly into just not getting it for 4/5 autos after
