The game tries to recreate the conditions of “Clear house” so many times but fails because the ROE’s are so different and the situation isn’t really comparable.

Obviously the game wants you to have a gun on the bat man and get him to surrender, but since they rush you its understandable to shoot the target.

Granted, apparenrly US troops faced these shitty ROE’s in Iraq and Afghanistan soo

It's the situation. You are a home invader, the person didn't actually see you yet and they weren't actually in a swinging position to actually harm you. I mean, it's also a game, but of all of the goofy scripted cod moments this one didn't get me.
