I've experienced Saint Denis in Red Dead Redemption 2, Paris in Assassins Creed Unity and Novigrad in The Witcher 3. All of them are brilliantly designed cities, but Night City is the best city I have ever experienced in any video game to date by a mile, even with the old bugs. The amount of potential in this world is insane.

If all of this news bout 3rd person perspective is true. Then i so cannot wait for it. I have been dying to forever see my V in third person for so damn long.

I feel like most games should take place in Night City, similar to how Yakuza takes place in the same area of a city. Just open up some new places, change things around and jump to different time periods.

With each new game, it develops the lore and universe of Cyberpunk even more.

Honestly, all I want from a sequel is same Night City, same time period or within a few years of original, and just very simply open all interiors. That task could likely take as long as it would take to make a whole new game anyways, but Night City is so incredibly fantastic, I don’t want to see a new location, I simply want everything unlocked. Mega buildings, apartments, office buildings, even perhaps a more underground look at what lies beneath the city in sewer areas. They can add more quests within these buildings and areas, and it would TRULY be the largest, most incredible city of any game to date to explore. Massive win in my opinion.

I actually hate gta online so much that I never touch it anymore after trying to give it a chance for 10 hours since it's such a mess. For Cyberpunk they could probably just do a small hub as lobby like Afterlife, then players who meet in the lobby could decide to do gig together or other activities, not unlike playing the tabletop together.

If CDPR can pull of reworking the police system and 3rd person i will be extremely impressed and shocked. But I think 1.7 will just add vehicular combat and a fixed police system (hopefully) and maybe we can get some more apartments or vehicle customizations

I hope that there is a 3rd person camera perspective I've been asking for that since day one.

I would LOVE 3rd person. That feature would honestly put the game in Fallout territory for me. Which means that SOME of the bugs experienced at launch would have been ignored for me. I also have to be realistic. That ain’t coming in this game or any updates. The option to switch perspectives would be great for sequels though.

So these are the features I want in update 1.7 other than an overhauled Police system and Vehicle combat:

1. Vehicle and Weapon Customization. (atleast the colours and designs)

2. Better melee combat (more impactful and diverse) along with even more types of melee weapons. Throat-slitting and backstabbing animations for stealth kills with melee weapons would also be nice.

3. More cyberware (not just the cyberware inside V's body, but more like the Mantis Blades, Projectile Launch System etc.

4. Talking about the Projectile Launch System, it should be given a homing system, rapid fire and the Tech attribute should buff it.

5. More cars, bikes and if possible AVs (though this is not very likely).

6. The ability to respec attribute points (with or without New Game +).

7. This is quite personal, but more Japanese clothing items would also be very nice and would make sense for obvious reasons.

They need that 3rd person like they promised, plus multiplayer won't be anything like GTA online without it, Rockstar manage to put 1st person in there 3rd person game without even asking there is no excuse for them not to have it when there is 3rd person mods that are damn near close to being finish they could just stop being lazy they heard us in they should delivery or I'll just wait until GTA 6.

9:04 I actually think it would be cool if the sequel to CP2077 took place a couple years later, in Night City for the beginning portion of the game, and we get to see the *aftermath* of crucial moments that took place in the first game; things general enough to where it would fit with everyone's "V" and their actions. Then, maybe towards the middle of the game it transitions to parts of the city that were neglected by the first game, and maybe 2 or three areas we didn't know existed 🤔

Honestly i wish Cyberpunk teams could do the 3rd person perspective jump just like Re8. It is amazing how they did it.

My worries with multiplayer, is the universe of Cyberpunk being watered down or changed to “appeal” to a bigger audience.

They can definitely add 3rd person for the sequel though. Development isn't started and they are fully aware of the request for it. There's no reason why it should not be a thing now. They should bring back the 3rd cutscenes from the 2018 presentation- for conversations and set pieces too.
