How to fix a rough idle on a 2009 Toyota Corolla

This type of throttle control is called drive by wire. The little black box on the side of the throttle body is the electronic throttle control motor. If it has one of these motors, there is no IACV, the computer does all the work. Good video!

Hello I've got 2011 Corolla and when I start it it idles rough and engine light is now on. Seems to just be idleing rough and doesn't sound the greatest when you first start it. Would this cause the check engine light to come on ?
