RARE VINTAGE TOY DISCOVERED AFTER CHANCE YARD SALE ENCOUNTER!

I hit a couple community yard sales to do a little vintage toy hunting. I found a few things but nothing too exciting…UNTIL…I happened on my friend Brad’s sale. He invited me inside to see if I was interested in anything. I was VERY excited about a certain rare vintage toy I found sitting on his shelf. Yard Sale / Garage Sale Ride along!

Hey Froggy, that deck is interesting, Powell Tony Hawk shape, silver graphic. From what I can tell from the baseplate has Gullwing trucks and the hardware is legit old school as the bolts are long and have domed heads. It had a tailbone and rails probably fitted with Powell SexBolts hence the holes in the top of the deck. Can’t tell what the wheels are but they look more modern. The signatures are a mystery but maybe Matt and Larry at the Bones Brigade Audio Show Podcast will know, drop them a line!

I have no real interest in vintage toys but for some reason I cannot help get excited for froggys videos. There is just something about his knowledge, passion and kindness that draws me in ❤

I would love to go to yard sales and hunt for bargains. Unfortunately I have a degenerative illness that has left me unable to walk so I’m pretty much housebound. That’s why I love this channel. I get to live vicariously through Anthony. I never miss a video. Great work!

Since you’re wearing the Cure shirt, did you see they released a song today! And their first album in 16 years very soon!

Awesome video as always, Froggy. I don't know how you had the discipline to stay away from the Peter Cetera cassette tape. You are a better man than me.

Nice finds as usual. I typically don’t spend a lot of time going to yard sales, but I often get texts from friend about the good stuff they find.

Man i almost only go to community sales these days.. mainly because Texas is SO big and you’ll spend 20 minutes going from one sale to another.. community ones you actually get to go to a few before a million other people pick em clean!

the board is super interesting. Based on what you showed, the signature looks like it was on before it was skated based on the wear areas. I am personly unfamiliar with a silver blank from Powell but it doesn't mean they didn't make one. I say that b/c it doesn't look painted. Based on the holes, it had rails on it at one time. As for the signatures, nothing stands out to me. The things that makes me wonder is the 353 in Sharpie and most of the signatures look like a proper signature. Not just a bunch of randos. My guess is that it is just someone's personal deck signed by friends.
