FA9 - Journal Entries Explained

In Module 2 we learn the rules of journal entries. We learn when it's appropriate to record Debits and Credits. We also learn to transfer journal entries into T-Accounts and how to prepare a trial balance.

for those who are wondering, Credre "Cr" means "to entrust" (Credit), and Debere "Dr" means "to owe" (Debit), they come from the Latin past participles of debitum and creditum

Thank you so much. I’m in corporate finance and just moved into a new role where I manage a team that posts journal entries. In my past roles, I never had to think about JEs because it was the responsibility of accounting. Not having a strong grasp of JEs has made me very uneasy over the past few months.
