I appreciate that an excellent solution for getting GCC AND a compiler in the same IDE was furnished. I have only one question now that I've eliminated almost all my barriers to source code compilation; say I have a software program that I bought, and, as a special bonus, I was given access to the EXACT source code I'd need to build my own version of it. HOW EXACTLY do I open the folder to import the source code and other included resources? If I was just wanting to test a suite of Github/Sourceforge apps to see what the viability was for my audience by building them to test them out, is there a specific-ish tutorial for this process, or will I have to locate the CodeBlocks community and poke around? Don't mind, but don't want to get lost in the vagaries for the next 5 years. Already took me OVER 72 hours to become face-crash-course knowledgeable enough to become completely frustrated and wanting to go Postal...

What happens when you download it and it says Aborted (program collect2) as the error after the buid and run of the Hello World
Is it because I got a 32 but with a 64 bit compiler??
