CodeBlocks IDE Installation on Windows 10/11 [2023 Update] MinGW GCC Compiler | C & C++ Programming

Hello Everyone! Today in this video I am going to step by step guide you How to install CodeBlocks IDE for C and C++ programming on Windows 10/11. Windows (64-bit).
Here I will show you how to install MinGW 64 for Windows 10/11 as a compiler.

After that, I am also going to show you How to Create your First Hello World Program in both C programming and C++ Programming Languages.

Step 1. First You need to download CodeBlocks for windows 10/11. For that just go to the following link:
This page will lead to the CodeBlocks download page.

Now after downloading CodeBlocks save the file to the disk and follow the next step for installation.

Step 2. Install CodeBlocks

Step 3. Now you need to set the environment variables, so for which you need to paste the bin path. If you face any difficulty just follow the video.

What’s the CodeBlocks IDE?
- Code::Blocks is a free, open-source cross-platform IDE that supports multiple compilers including GCC, Clang, and Visual C++. It is developed in C++ using wxWidgets as the GUI toolkit. Using a plugin architecture, its capabilities and features are defined by the provided plugins.

When it built the .c file, why were there no files from the building process put into your working directory? I'm looking for a C++ compiler that I can write simple console and GUI apps with using C++. I feel that Vistual Studio is too bloated, and C++ Builder (Borland) is just a mess.

What happens if you have an old version (13.01) of codeBlocks? Does installer install over old one or does it delete old version first? Is it required to uninstall old version first? Old version doesn’t work correctly with Windows 11!

At first my program run but whenever I opened it afterwards from my folder it opens in notepad and there is no such option for opening in code blocks so what should I do ??

how do i get a terminal window? i dont have a option to select under: setting -> environment: "terminal to launch console programs" is greyed out.

I did exactly like the video but when i click on run and let the program build, nothing happens afterwards, the console doesn't open
