thank you for this sanity check. I forget this is a problem too often and every 1-2 years I get this issue because I have blocked the signals and I start to believe something is wrong with windows until I stumble across someone who uses this approach to explain what might be wrong

Genius! I never expected signal will cause the disruption. Receiver was very close to mouse but in between there was a small speaker which was disturbing the signal. Now both my keyboard and mouse works perfectly without any lag. Thank you!

Thank you! I've been having problems with the USB/bluetooth mouse for some weeks and I moved where the dongle is, and instantly the mouse started performing better.

Changed the wireless USB connection port to the front panel. Problem sorted. Thank you.

Thanks a lot. I moved my wireless adapter closer to the mouse (USB extension cable) and VOILA..!! The stutters are gone! I had tried everything.. from changing the batteries to reinstalling mouse drivers, I also bought a new mouse :D But never thought the signal could get so weak because it was hardly 3 feet away. Anyway, I've moved it now to like a few inches from the mouse and its working fine. Thank you so much.

I had a thumb drive next to the wireless mouse transmitter usb . I moved it and now its fine. thanks !

Thank you! Updating the firmware helped. not only did it fix the mouse lag, it fixed software/app issues also. thanks!

My mouse was working fine until I placed it near to my Phone which has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on, when I moved my phone away and replaced the port for the usb receiver to the closest point to my mouse, it was smooth again.

I updated drivers and checked for background processes but the problem was other interfering connections.
