I tried watching it in black and white a month ago (just messing with the TV settings) and the movie looks even better in black and white.. The cgi blends better and it feels like it was ment to be seen that way

Saw this in theaters, personally, I think it’s a bit better in black and white. I hadn’t seen the original version at the time, but it just made the movie feel a lot more… immersed in the time.
