The mainstream media have reported about Egypt closing tunnels and fighting smuggling between Gaza and Sinai for at least a decade.
The question is why would Egypt do this? I perceived it as Egypt pandering to the international press with no intent to actually stop smuggling. Perhaps I was mistaken.
Irrespective of the current situation in Gaza, Israeli leaders missed a great opportunity to minimize the threat posed by Gaza when they returned the land of Sinai to Egypt. The people of Gaza should have been repatriated to the Sinai before the land was given back to the Egyptians.

The antisemites around the world have no regard for Muslims slaughtering Muslims. They misuse any news event, including terrorist attacks against Israel, to denigrate the Jewish people.
