Now I will finally be able to track my monthly Watermelon expenses. My life is complete.

But jokes aside, thanks for the overview! 😎

Hi Ryan. Thank you for the video. I have ADHD and budgeting has been a really hard thing for me to keep up with. I’m looking for a app that will let me break down my budget DAILY 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I also need daily reminders to check the app. Can mint do this? I know this might sound crazy to some people but anyone with ADHD would understand.

Similarly, we run an Airbnb and I'd love as Mint tracks that income to have it increase my "housing" line item (since it's a variable amount every month)

Thank you! This is very helpful! Especially the subscription part.

Why do my sub categories for Auto not show up and get totaled when I display my budget screen. The only one that shows up is Gas and Fuel. All the rest are at the bottom under Other. How do I get all the Auto subcategories show up under Auto & Transport?

How did you find the “create a budget” option? I’m not finding that anywhere. It just automatically set a budget for me.

Started Mint last night and Can already tell it’s going to take a ton of work daily. Every transaction includes a long text string, so no rule I create will work. There isn’t a rule option to just include a merchant’s name so I’m having to manually edit transactions. If I have to do this daily… I’m out on Mint. Anyone running into this? Is there an option like “if it includes xyz then”?

Why can't I set up a budget prior to the beginning of the month?

not gonna lie, that speeding ticket mistake by the app was really funny

My subscriptions never showed up, no matter what I do. And there was no video to help with that problem. I can only put in my subscriptions manually.

Your apartment looks so similar to the ones students rent at Michigan State University, in front of campus. Just saying

Started out as a great video but it’s outdated

Why do these tutorials always suck? There is literally no "create a budget" option- only "add" and "edit". So frustrating.

Very helpful video. Thanks. I've had Mint for years; almost since it came out. BUT, I've always found it confusing to use, so I've gone away and come back to it many times. The budgeting feature was particularly hard for me to grasp. I started using YNAB at the beginning of this year and really liked it at first, but I'm finding that I have to spend a LOT of time with it. I'm looking to come back to Mint because it has all my history, plus I like the reporting better. This video really helped me understand the budgeting feature better. But my question is what process do you use to close out your budget from month to month and "reset" it for the next month? Any advice?
