Create downloadable file link in Google Drive

This video shows you how to use Google Drive to generate a downloadable file link that will allow anyone to click a link and instantly download a file to their computer, instead of having to go through the regular Google Drive user interface.

Use the following URL as the starting point of your downloadable link and add your file ID to the end:

Okay, but can you convert it to a URL link without the automatic download function? Like can you create a separate URL link so the file isn't connected to your Google Drive at all?

Hi! so I've tried this and I'm afraid it only works for pc. for phones, the users will go through the pdf documents on google first. is there any way to make is a direct download on smartphones as well?

I have a torrent with 20GB of vids, how do I put it on google drive without having to install it on my PC.
