I love listening to members of THE GREATEST GENERATION!! Especially WWII service-members!… My grandfather was in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He passed away quite awhile ago & I still miss him and my grandmother sooo much! I’ve always wished that I had grown up in their generation. I don’t like the world we’re living in now!…. Incredible. This is soul-touching and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. It’s that kind of esprit de corps that got those men through dire straights. It is that same loyalty that motivated and continues to motivate every US Troop since. This is the kind of thing that makes me proud to be an American. A pride our nation hasn’t felt since 9/11. A pride I hope our people get back before something like that happens again.
