DDCA is pleased to present today’s webinar on “Identifying Dyslexia & Improving Student Success” with, Dr. Kathy Futterman.
This webinar is intended for parents, advocates and teachers.
Dr. Futterman is a Dyslexia Consultant with Decoding Dyslexia CA and works in the field of special education, primarily with students with language-based learning issues in a variety of public and private settings.
She is also an Adjunct Faculty member at CSU-East Bay and an Educational Specialist at Mt. Diablo USD.
Dr. Futterman participated in lobbying efforts that led to the successful passing of the legislation including providing expert testimony to the CA Senate Appropriations Committee and contributed content to the guidelines as part of the CA Department of Education’s dyslexia workgroup.
