Multitrack Recording with the ZOOM LiveTrak L-8
Показать описание
How to create a Multitrack Recording and mix it all within the Zoom LiveTrak L8 mixer (or L12 etc).
I've had some fun playing with this Zoom unit - recording live sessions, peforming live, livestreaming, and now using it as a multitrack recording unit for a full song recording (see above link). Plus it can do this on batteries which opens up some really fun options too!
It's SUPER INTUITIVE and I really rate it. There are a few things to learn, but once you have them sorted you'll find your way around creating and recording multiple parts on this mixer pretty quickly and confidently (I think). I've put timings into this video for things like punching in and punching out below. I didn't notice it - but did get a comment that the little 'toc' sound gets picked up on punch in punch out edits. I expect it would become more noticeable the more soundproofed and studio you're trying to make your recordings and as always there are things you can do to minimise this sound. As a songwriting tool it's exceptional.
