yogī yuñjīta satatam ātmānaṁ rahasi sthitaḥ
ekākī yatacittātmā nirāśīr aparigrahaḥ 6.10
tatraikāgraṁ manaḥ kṛitvā yatacittendriyakriyaḥ
upaviśyāsane yuñjyād yogam ātmaviśuddhaye 6.12
samaṁ kāya-śhiro-grīvaṁ dhārayann achalaṁ sthiraḥ
samprekṣhya nāsikāgraṁ svaṁ diśhaśh chānavalokayan 6.13
praśāntātmā vigatabhīr brahmacārivrate sthitaḥ
manaḥ sanyamya maccitto yukta āsīta matparaḥ 6.14
yuñjannevaṁ sadātmānaṁ yogī niyatamānasaḥ
śāntiṁ nirvāṇaparamāṁ matsansthāmadhigachchhati 6.15
yadā viniyataṁ cittam ātmanyevāvatiṣṭhate
niḥspṛihaḥ sarvakāmebhyo yukta ityucyate tadā 6.18
yathā dīpo nivātastho neṅgate sopamā smṛitā
yogino yatacittasya yuñjato yogam ātmanaḥ 6.19
yatroparamate cittaṁ niruddhaṁ yogasevayā
yatra caivātmanātmānaṁ paśyannātmani tuṣyati 6.20
sukham ātyantikaṁ yat tad buddhigrāhyamatīndriyam
vetti yatra na caivāyaṁ sthitaścalati tattvataḥ 6.21
yaṁ labdhvā cāparaṁ lābhaṁ manyate nādhikaṁ tataḥ
yasmin sthito na duḥkhena guruṇāpi vicālyate 6.22
taṁ vidyād duḥkhasanyoga viyogaṁ yogasaṅjñitam
sa niścayena yoktavyo yogo ’nirviṇṇacetasā 6.23
saṅkalpprabhavān kāmāns tyaktvā sarvān aśeṣataḥ
manasaivendriyagrāmaṁ viniyamya samantataḥ 6.24
śanaiḥ śanair uparamed buddhyā dhṛiti-gṛihītayā
ātma-sansthaṁ manaḥ kṛitvā na kiñcid api cintayet 6.25
yato yato niścarati manaścañcalam asthiram
tatas tato niyamyaitad ātmanyeva vaśaṁ nayet 6.26
praśāntamanasaṁ hyenaṁ yoginaṁ sukham uttamam
upaiti śāntarajasaṁ brahmabhūtam akalmaṣam 6.27
yuñjannevaṁ sadātmānaṁ yogī vigatakalmaṣaḥ
sukhena brahmasansparśam atyantaṁ sukham aśnute 6.28
cañcalaṁ hi manaḥ kṛiṣhṇa pramāthi balavad dṛiḍham
tasyāhaṁ nigrahaṁ manye vāyoriva suduṣkaram 6.34
asanśayaṁ mahābāho mano durnigrahaṁ calam
abhyāsena tu kaunteya vairāgyeṇa ca gṛihyate 6.35
asaṅyatātmanā yogo duṣprāpa iti me matiḥ
vaśyātmanā tu yatatā śakyo ’vāptum upāyataḥ 6.36
pūrvābhyāsena tenaiva hriyate hyavaśo ’pi saḥ
jijñāsur api yogasya śabdabrahmātivartate 6.44
prayatnād yatamānas tu yogī sanśuddhakilbiṣaḥ
anekajanmasansiddhas tato yāti parāṁ gatim 6.45
yoginām api sarveṣāṁ madgatenāntarātmanā
śraddhāvān bhajate yo māṁ sa me yuktatamo mataḥ 6.47
