The new Golf R embodies the passion for motorsport and everything that defines an R-brand model. One immediately becomes aware of its extraordinary performance. The power of the latest generation of the legendary TSI engine is optimally transferred to the road thanks to the 4MOTION all-wheel drive.

The new R-Performance Torque Vectoring distributes the drive power variably between the left and right rear wheel. The result: higher cornering speeds with very good traction and driving stability.

Tuned for the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, the Golf R with the optional R-Performance package raises the electronic top speed limit from 250 km/h to 270 km/h. The “Drift” and “Special” driving profiles give you goosebumps at the push of a button. In addition to these powerful functions, the package also includes visual highlights: the rear spoiler with a motorsport look and the 19-inch "Estoril" alloy wheels.

This is actually the new black edition ready for order now for delivery in feb. Im actually surprised they had this a year ago. NOT AN R LINE as you can tell by the front grill lights and the black wing mirrors, carbon fibre dash, heated seats, camera and black alloys.

The C-segment vehicle they get is the Jetta, made in Mexico.

This is my current car and I really don't like the dashboard and its also my first automatic and if your not careful it will go over speed limits easily I end up using manual to bring it back down a gear 🤣 my 2017 Audi A3 was nicer 👍keep up the good work Mr Dan

I don’t care what anyone says but I still feel the mk8 feels cheap compared to previous gens poor seat materials, horrible dash and by now they should have updated and fixed it but there is still the issue of not being able to seethe nav controls in the dark, give us a button vw and get rid of those horrible touch buttons on the wheel
