I just traded in my 12.9 inch Pro for the new 11 inch air and don’t regret it one bit. I am already using my iPad more than I ever used the 12.9 inch. It was just too big and annoying to take anywhere. I wanted to go pro but just couldn’t afford to and I don’t use my iPad in a way that I really need the pro.

Great review - I am the opposite, I’ll be switching from an M1 11” iPad Pro and it was perfect, but want to try the larger 13” as it is lighter. I know, the new 11” is lighter as well, but the 13” will be better for my use case. Again, great review!

Please do a one month later. I keep waffling back and forth between the 11 and 12.9… I checked out the 13” IPad Pro w/ Keyboard and it seemed manageable. I normally use it in portrait mode for Notez but wanted to the flexibility of using the keyboard…. So when I transport it I like to have the board with me.. THANKS

I just traded in my iPad 12.9 Pro M2 to iPad Pro 11 M4.. No regrets!! I believe it’s the sweet spot!

I bought the 3rd gen ipad pro in 12.9 inches, and i can safely say it was such a waste of my money. I got it in July 2019 for note taking in college and other media consumption outside of the house. All of a sudden covid hit a couple months later and I wasn't using it at all bc i had access to my very heavy but very capable laptop, since we were quarantined. Over a grand on a device I believe I didn't use enough of. It makes me so sad bc I really liked it but the timing was terrible.

I also came to the conclusion I wouldn't take notes with it in class after the quarantines ended because it was too heavy and it would hurt my arm while writing (i was writing on it practically on my feet). Moreover, the size requires bigger bags for me to carry it and I am not a fan of that. I don't even remember what made me prefer the idea of a 12.9in screen but boy was 20 year old me foolish.

I am considering upgrading to the 2024 ipad air in 11 inches (because i think the pro is overkill in my case, for the budget I have and also the real use I'd give it) but I am very uneasy about it since I am VERY scared I'll not use it as much as I wish, again.

Your video helped a lot, though! If I do upgrade, it'll definitely be to the smaller size, since I can see it does make a difference

(ik this was a comparison of the pro versions but it was still valuable to me due to size being my main issue and not performance)

Nice little review, and super aesthetic and pleasing to watch the whole thing! You earned yourself a sub! I agree, the keyboard case make the whole thing a lot heavier than it should. I have the keyboard case and I am contemplating returning it, getting a folio case and a foldable keyboard instead. Not an elegant solution but it makes portability way better. Apple seriously needs to figure out a way to shed some of the weight off the keyboard case to make it portable in terms of weight.

Won’t be much better than the IPAD you have now Sounds like you read EMAILS and watch YouTube videos on the IPad Your M1 chip is great for that Is your old IPad that thick that you need it thinner It’s not as prone to damage as the thin ones and I doubt the 2 ounce difference will break your back to carry!!!

I came for the insights and they were good insights with regards to how portable is and why you went for a smaller form factor. I would like to see the 1 month review. But damn girl you need to visit a speech coach or something. The pitch in your voice when you finish a sentence gets annoying after 2min. Start at 2:15 “upgraaade”, “penceeeewl” - You don’t have it naturally, but it comes really often
