Samsung Pay makes mobile payments easy

A mobile payment system that works almost everywhere? That's the Samsung Pay promise. We take it for a test drive in shops around San Francisco.

for gas stations one can go inside the store and pay.. that fixes the limitation I guess.

Unfortunately you still need your normal card, anywhere you have to insert your card into a mashine. Like vending machines, parking lots, or at gasstation pumps.

Samsung pay doesn't store card number but yet cnet censors the last 4 digits of the card number.

I went to cvs and the store rep told me that the store doesn't accept mobile payment. I used Samsung pay and it worked fine. but the store rep didn't trust my payment and asked for the manager to come and check. I got totally pissed off. Samsung needs to advertise this feature in mass media in a big way. mst is a great innovation and they should sell that more than wireless charging. come on Samsung

In Canada we use more NFC and less MST.... in the USA ur still using old terminal MST, so i can see why its more popular there than APPLE PAY or GOOGLE PAY. but in Canada we been using NFC for a long long time.

My cousin and I have the same credit union but he has the Samsung Galaxy S6 and I have the iPhone 6, Samsung Pay is not available for him. It's unfortunate that Samsung pay looks much better than Apple Pay, yet isn't accessible for most users
