Excellent. This is literally the best explanation about Go Back and Come Back that I've ever heard. Many of us, Brazilians, have a hard time when it comes to understanding the use of 'come back' and 'go back' for these both situations, because we don't use the equivalent to GO in Portuguese as much as native English speakers. Thank you, teacher, for giving us a very simple way to remember the difference between 'go back' and 'come back'. Here is my example:
  In May last year, my daughter living in Australia spent three weeks visiting her parents in Vietnam. During that time, her husband called her and asked, "When will you come back?"
  Because she bought a round-trip ticket, when the deadline was approaching, she told us: "I have to go back tomorrow".
