Simple & Easy KALE CHIPS
---------------------------------------------------------
Kale - washed, rinsed and torn into small pieces
Berta's Chicken seasoning

Instructions:

I discovered that you can also get good results if you BAKE the KALE with the temperatures and times below:

2. Then, turn the temperature UP TO 250°F and bake another 15 minutes.
3. Remove from oven.

My objective for this channel is to share with others what I have learned over the last 30+ years about living and eating healthier. I share my knowledge with my small circle of friends all the time. I am not a doctor, nor do I hold any type of medical degree, but I believe that my tried experiences may help someone else.

For over 30 years I have used every diet imaginable to lose weight, but I confess that I am now at home using the vegan lifestyle. I want to share what I have learned about eating and enjoying food. And, since I am still learning how to be more consistent with this lifestyle, I have decided to eat more healthily, realizing the weight will come off eventually. Though I have not reached my goal weight, I know that sharing with other people in front of a camera with help me to stay on course.

I have, with the help of my husband of 37 years, raised 3 grown children. I will also share some cooking shortcuts as well as some natural formulas I have used and still use for everyday problems.

OMG This gives me so many ideas. That crispness sounds like it would be a great texture for a snack. Changing of the seasoning and experimenting with seasoning could lead to all sorts of nice crisp and flavorful snacks. Kale here is also dirt cheap. A huge bunch is like a dollar. I'm going to try this. I also noticed you have a new toaster oven. The first few videos I saw of yours you had an old beat up toaster oven then decided to check out your newer videos and see new one. You're still looking good as ever.

You make me happy Ms. Berta...😊. I have purchased kale chips, and I have had unlucky attempts at making them myself. I will try this way.... My family has to have a healthier alternative to potato chips. I know if I have this prepared and available, the whole family will snack on them. Thanks for the tips and inspiration. You are beautiful by the way.

I'm heading to store in morning for fresh kale. These look so delicious. I'm with you about how long they last. Long enough to eat them all up real fast...😋😋🤣👍. God Bless you Berta for sharing this delightful yummy recipe. So happy to see another video from you. Love Tamson 😇 💖👍😋👏💕

Thanks Berta, I've always wanted to make kale chips, but never bothered to look up how long they bake and at what temp. I use my toaster oven a lot too now that it is only me. I look forward to making these! Hugs, Brenda

Ok Berta Jay...I am going to retry kale chips. I tried some store bought and was horrified. I do dehydrate kale, plain and use in the Fall and Winter to add to soups and casseroles. It's vacuumed sealed in mason jars and resealed after opening. Just used some from last year's harvest in a soup and was good. For snacks can't say but other cooking if stored properly at least 8 months or more in case you were interested in using it in another way. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
