How to make KALE CHIPS!

Amy's Kale Chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Thoroughly wash and dry the kale before use (I used red kale)
Holding the stem with one end, pull the leaves down the stem and off in one motion
Tear kale leaves into bite sized pieces and place on a baking sheet
Lightly drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and massage evenly so that each leaf is coated
Arrange in a single layer on baking sheet
Place kale on center rack and bake for 10 minutes, then flip kale over and bake for an additional 10 minutes
Remove from oven, season with kosher salt, and enjoy!

I used virgin coconut oil, a sprinkle of paprika and the Himalayan Pink Salt
Ridiculously delicious. Kids in my house punching on for the last few scraps!

omg that crunch made my mouth water lol. I have a severe sensitivity to gluten and was sad to learn I have to give up chips. You just gave me hope!!

kale chips are soooo delicious!!! i make them all the time. they are my go to vegetable when i make dinner lol i use garlic powder, pepper, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and my coconut oil. so good as a side dish. great video!!

I love kale chips now! my family signed up for a time share in a farm and every week you get a ton of organic veggies, and we have sooo much kale and didnt know what to do with it and this helped so much!!! thank you!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH AMY!!!!  The way you bake them comes out crunchy every time. the other recipes that i have tried didnt work so well, and I thought they were suppose to takes burnt. Actually when I found your video i had already decided this was the last time i was gonna attempt them. Im so glad I did they are so yummy!! I think its a very big deal to season them when they are finished baking, it seems to help with the crunchiness. I have taken these to places and most people who thought they wouldnt like them found that they did!! They were also a big hit at my doctors office. YAAY THANKS!!

Thanks. I tried this today and liked them. I do some of mine with basil and use Pam spray. I also tried some with parmesan and olive oil. And some with garlic powder. All are great. I use whole leaves, not broken, as they shrink up to small. I will reduce hit to about 275 next time. I liked the basil/parmesan best.

I made two batches of Kale chips last night. They were incredible, delicious and very healthy. I topped mine with a teeny bit of sea salt and a pinch of cracked black pepper. I even had a friend try them and he quite liked them, even though he's a junk-food kinda guy. He's one of those guys who looks like a Greek Statue even though he eats nothing but Burger King and drinks nothing but Mountain Dew, whereas if I so much as look at a burger, I gain 5lbs. It's great to find a guilt-free snack!
