Thanks for being self-aware and providing a role model of continuous learning and leaving your ego at the door. Nothing but pride in learning. Well done, keep it up!

I haven't been riding for a long time over 20 yrs. Yet I still love watching all these videos.

I think what was so good about this vid. Is your honesty. Thanks Jerry🙂

Great video Jerry! I think it’s great that you lead by example and work on improving your overall riding technique rather than putting out videos on how to improve your bike with chrome farkles and extra lights or extra loud mufflers.
Thanks for the tips.

I also just did this course in Willcox AZ and highly recommend it. It's the course riders should take before they get bad habits.

Its cool to see a guy in your section of motorcycling hit the track with an instructor. Also impressive that a rider with your experience is willing to humble himself and take instruction.

Love the way you present everything Jerry. Smooth and calm. I wish I knew why so many people who don't race are so preoccupied with getting through corners as fast as possible on the street? I think we all would be better off if we just rode slower and practiced emergency deceleration and swerving in turns. Like you said you won't know where the apex is on a new road when you can't see the entire curve.

Just completed the Yamaha Champ school this week. Amazing how much I didn't know and understand about riding in corners

EVERYONE who rides a motorcycle should do some track days. A lot of the technique translates to road riding. I’ve seen BMW GS1200s, Harley’s, Indians, Super Motos, and Dual Sports on the track. It all works and it’s great knowledge to have in your toolbox.

I always get looks and questions when I’m riding my Ultra Classic. Nobody has ever seen someone “Hanging off” a bagger before I guess! 😂
Truth told, I’m a former racer, and my Ultra is outfitted with high end “Race suspension”, so this style comes naturally to me.
Cool trick I’ve learned,
When going into the corner, turn your inside foot about 90 degrees outward on the board. This acts like a knee, so when the bottom of the toe of your boot starts to drag, you’ll know you have a couple inches before you start dragging floor board.
🤘🏻

Great info for any riders new or old. I was lucky at a very young age to spend a lot of time chasing after a professional racer on this personal bike a motor Moto Morini 3 1/2 through the back roads of Connecticut and Massachusetts on my Honda 300cc super hawk.
I learned being smooth and using lot's body language makes riding fast very entertaining.

I have done some track days on a number of different styles of motorcycles. A couple of them under training. If you really want to know where you are riding skill wise a serious track weekend is recommended. Learning is a great thing and also a humbling experience. You think you are going pretty quick and then some pro racer goes by you so fast you check your speedo. Well you’re doing the ton when you look!! Pucker factor and common sense tells you don’t worry man just be happy.

Great job, I always say the day I quit learning is the day I quit riding. I ride ride off road and street and there is always something you can do better

I'm proud of you Jerry for getting out of your niche👍.

Next up, how about a multi-day trip through the mountains?

I need to try something like this someday. I’ve always been training myself to do everything on the high side.

I'm leaning in my chair as I watch this..saying "add more body lean" haha. Not sure where your camera was, but assuming it was on the helmet. Thanks Jerry!
