There was a leak recently that mentioned the top USB port of the "Switch 2" was for a camera accessory. If true, and if this thing does do backwards compatibility with not only OG Switch games but 3DS games on NSO, it could be a second screen with the capability to play 3DS games.

I hope Nintendo brings back Nintendium quality plastic for Switch 2; no more Joy Con or Jammed Button issues. Updated Motion Controls is something I support; though agree it should be an optional thing not a mandatory thing. Could think of some gimmicks I never thought of that turn out to be in favor. But doesn't really need one, just needs a lot of exclusive games, better hardware to run the biggest multiplatform games as of late and coming forward, and great marketing to go with all that.

ITS A WIRELESS DOCK. It has to be plugged in. It only needs 2.4ghz wifi because its not actually downloading games or doing multiplayer, instead all it does is handle the video content of the switch.

What Nintendo really needs to work on because this app has not had an update in several months or years probably is their app for iOS and android. We’re supposed to be able to voice chat and play games online with friends and family but we can’t do that because not all games are compatible.

I would agree that it’s a new gesture control interface for advanced motion tracking in the absence of any controller. Though that’s just my opinion

I’m gonna combine the some of the ideas I’m seeing other people suggesting. It can be put in the dock and wirelessly connect to the Switch 2 which can then act similarly to the WiiU gamepad. It can also then be connected via USB-C to the top of the Switch 2 as a second screen to emulate DS games, with the Switch 2’s touch screen acting as the touch screen on the DS.

I absolutely hate anything motion control related. I swear if the next Zelda game requires me to actually make motions to swing sword or use tools with no option to just use buttons, it'll be a skip for me.

The more any company leans into motion controls and/or vr, the more it will turn me away.

Definitely the screen to be linked to the dock while not attached to it and have the main screen on the tv and the second screen on the switch screen. Like DS/3DS. It's so obvious as there is layton coming, and other games, as the DS library will eventually Come to the online section...

This could have multiple uses, from allowing better motion control/detection of joycon/controller motion in space, achieving 2nd screen asymmetical play through streaming to the dock, to the next generation of RingFit Adventures and QoL/play apps through the Doppler 24GHz sensor which is used in medicine to allow non-contact vital signs monitoring.
Interesting times ahead!
