Stop disabling the dpi buttons, and instead use them for keys. The button layout is, imo, the reason this mouse is top tier.

2022 fembro problems - the mouse is too heavy for my wrist muscles

This is the reason why youtube got rid of the dislike counter.

The weight is pretty helpful for people with slightly shaky grip or similar issues. Lighter mice have been problematic for me in the past just because of how easily I could knock myself out of alignment for a shot. Otherwise solid review, the braided cable version is better.

Before you buy this mouse, ask yourself; can you trust the judgement of someone who has that hideous hand tattoo?

Everything you've said about this mouse just sounds like a personal problem. The only issues i've had with my g502 were the mouse feet and the scroll wheel whipping left and right cause i use low sensitivity, each of those things i can just turn off/swap out. It's a mouse, it isn't that heavy lmao. The buttons are also reprogrammable so all those DPI buttons don't have to be DPI buttons. Cable has also never been an issue, your setup is probably just bad – i don't even use a cable bungee

I have a Logitech G502 and have never had a problem with the weight or the cable.

Bought my g502 in 2016. Everything around it has been replaced but the g502 has never disappointed me

The most ridiculous complaints, at first it even seemed that you was trying to be funny. This mouse indeed have issues, but not those you mentioned.

Weight is really a personal pref. Low weight mice is a more recent thing in the last 5 years or so and I've noticed that it came about the same time companies started to make quality soft mouse pads. However, soft pads usually have more friction than hard pads so I've always felt there was a correlation. I've always said a good low friction mouse pad negates any weight issues of a heavier mouse.

Big brain idea: workout only your right arm, 3 days a week. By the time a flagship mouse like this comes down to 60g, you'll be a man, who don't need it

This is literally the best mouse i ever owned, as a warthunder air main having 11 buttons on it with very comfortable layout is just incredible, its also very very useful when editing cause you can just map so many settings to it

to me, it sounds like you got no strength in your arms if you think this mouse is like throwing a brick around

I use G502 and G305.

The G502 is a VERY good mouse for productive use and games that don't aren't focused on aiming skills. The extra butons are very useful for web browsing and productive work. On my mouse, the sideways scrollwheel clicks are the back and forward buttons. The thumb side buttons are copy, paste and enter. The side buttons of left click are undo and redo.

The G305 is used for fps games and for portability. It's a great mouse for laptops and it turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity. But it turns on immediately if you move it, so it's seamless. The stock battery lasted more than 3 months of exclusive use (only started using G502 recently) and you can easily squeeze out 1 month of battery life out of a AAA battery. The stock feet are a bit annoying, as they have a small surface area, and can sort of dig into the mouse pad, increasing the friction resistance. Using a fingertip grip has fixed this issue.

Overall, G502 is an extremely good mouse for productivity and games that aren't competitive fps's.

I used this mouse for about a year now and it has been the best mouse I have had over the past 30 years. It didn't survive a plunge into a glass of water but that was to be expected.

100% not designed for you, for MMO's or actual productivity users rather than the very narrow focus you have that actually has specific mice for your use case. Some of us actually have wrists not made of glass so the weight is no drama and feels far less cheap than all the superlight mice that feel like they should be $20 at most.

I used this mouse exclusively for 4 years and came to just about all the same conclusions as you. Recently updated to a Pulsar X2H mini and have been loving how much easier it is to move around the mousepad. I have to imagine most of the people complaining in the comments are picking it up recently and haven't used other superlight mice, since it's fairly old by now it goes on sale for a low price pretty often these days. It's certainly not a bad mouse and will definitely get the job done, but there are other options that will likely be more useful to someone if they just spent a little more or did a little more research. My pulsar mouse was on sale for almost half off, and there were other models that were just about the same price as the G502 Hero.

The G502 is amazing in terms of ergonomics and longevity but it has some flaws like the awful cable, mouse feet or weight. All of it are now solved with the new G502 X which have a new flex cable, PTFE mouse feet and a weight of only 89g. It also have new switches and a improved shape for 80€.
