Trump Asked Putin If He Should Arm Ukraine

Trump reportedly asked Putin for advice on whether or not he should arm Ukraine during their first meeting when he was President. Putin told him it would be a mistake because they couldn’t be trusted and would only ask for more. It’s like if FDR called Berlin, asking if he should aid the British and Soviets. As the story goes, we know Trump tried to cut aid to Ukraine and then got impeached for blackmailing them. And once again he is campaigning on cutting aid to them. He also denied to say if he wants Ukraine to win during the Presidential debate. Trump denied earlier reports that he sent testing machines to Putin but the Kremlin has now confirmed that he did just that. This comes after new revelations that Trump and Putin have spoken at least 7 times since he left office. And, look I don’t like defending Trump but I do think the media is overreacting about these calls. It’s pretty normal to answer phone calls from your boss.
